Greetings…

It's another year The Lord has kept Perfecting Outreach Missions (POM) still operating as a faith-based, community charitable nonprofit 501(c3) organization and for this we are grateful! Founded on August 6, 2006, we serve the local and surrounding communities in the Fredericksburg, Virginia region. POM operates today much like missionary auxiliaries found in many churches but unlike churches who have a steady stream of income from tithes and offerings collected regularly, POM conducts one major fundraising solicitation a year.

 

Our Vision…

The vision for POM still remains intact today. Whether it’s partnering with a school classroom to provide snacks or supplies to students in need, helping a family in crisis with food from our Crisis Food Cabinet, or visiting the sick and bereaved families in our community; our desire is to continue being a blessing as our resources allows. We also love doing our special Thanksgiving Project every year where we donate a turkey, stuffing and sides to families who are in need of the blessing. We were able to do this project and other beautiful things to help others throughout the year because of the donations we received during our fundraising campaign! 

 

Final Thoughts…

Charity defined is simply love in action! We also know it takes faith along with love to give in today's economy but please know we appreciate whatever amount you choose to give. Also remember your financial contribution to this organization is tax deductible; so once again, we thank you for your generous support!
